Park [1]이 본론 1-1) 환자의 동의능력을 설명하는 부분에서 “‘자기제어’라고도 표현할 수 있는 자율성”이라는 문구가 등장하는데, 여기서 ‘자기제어’란 ‘self-determination’을 의미하는 것으로 보인다. 만약 ‘self-determination’이라면 ‘자기제어’보다는 ‘자기결정’으로 옮기는 편이 옳다.
